Longwood is a 100-year-old New Forest cottage, which has been sympathetically restored and extended, and now includes all modern facilities. It has a large mature garden which is completely private, and which guests are welcome to make use of. The house enjoys a unique location in the forest overlooking Bartley Green about 2½ miles north of Lyndhurst - capital of the New Forest. Ponies regularly visit Bartley Green to graze.

Although quiet and secluded, the house is not remote, enjoying good communications and being conveniently situated for all Forest activities. There are 2 pubs, one with an excellent restaurant, within walking distance of the house, and several other pubs and restaurants lie within easy reach. The village Post Office and convenience store is nearby.
Longwood is a non-smoking house.
We are sorry that we cannot accommodate pets.
Accommodation
Longwood offers 3 double rooms, each of which is equipped with:
    • Remote-controlled colour TV, including all Freeview channels
    • Tea & coffee making facilities
    • Hair dryer

Guests are welcome to use the Guest Sitting Room, Conservatory and Garden.

Two of the rooms have double beds and share the large guest
bathroom which has a separate shower cubicle in addition to the bath, twin wash basins and a toilet. This is an ideal arrangement for a family, or friends wishing to stay together.
The third room can be offered with twin beds or a super king-size bed, and has an en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin.
